Many vehicles, including jeeps and SUVs, were submerged halfway in the rising waters which filled the streets of Victoria Garden City (VGC) estate in Ajah, Lagos.

Other areas in the state, including Lekki, Yaba, Agege, Iju and Ikorodu, were also affected.
