She died the following day at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Birmingham Mail reports.
Hussain, 29, of Pembroke Croft, Hall Green, was sentenced
to at least 19 years in prison at Worcester Crown Court yesterday.
He changed his plea to guilty as the prosecution case came
to an end.
The court heard that Kirsty had been worried about
Hussain’s drug-taking before he murdered her.
He had started taking cannabis but had escalated to using
cocaine.
