$9.3m Saga: Aircraft Not Operated by Me, Says Oritsejafor

The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor Tuesday distanced himself from the aircraft found with $9.3 million,  which has been impounded by the South African authorities.

South African authorities had impounded an aircraft where million of dollars were loaded into suitcases.  The aircraft had two Nigerians and Israeli arms contractor.

The aircraft was subsequently linked to the CAN President sparking rumour and insinuation over the intended purpose..
But responding to reports, Oritsejafor who spoke through his aide, Bayo Adewoye denied being the operator of the said aircraft.

In a statement, the CAN President said,  "the Word of Life Bible Church has been made aware of the recent media interest regarding an aircraft (Bombardier Challenger 600, Registration No N808HG) owned by The Company Eagle Air in which our Pastor, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, holds a residual interest”.
