Human parts market: Police arrest 8 dealers (Photo)

 Kwara State Police Command has arrested eight suspects in connection with the human parts markets uncovered recently in Ilorin and Tabira village, both in Kwara State. Five of the suspects were arrested in Ilorin, the state capital, while the other three were nabbed in Tabira in Baruten Local Government Area of the state.
The state police command stunned the public with the discovery of an uncompleted building in Ilorin being used for ritual activities. A similar den was uncovered in Tabira village on July 22.

Parading the suspects, Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ambrose Aisabor, stated that the command’s detectives, acting on intelligence report, arrested one Amos (surname withheld) and during investigation, a search was conducted in his house, where human parts, including heads and arms, were recovered. He added that an accomplice, identified as  Abubakar, was also arrested and both allegedly confessed to dealing in human parts.
